About Vibrant Love Artistry: Jannah Farooque is a muralist and jewelry artist that pulls her creative inspiration from God, and the inherent goodness that we all possess. Self-taught, Jannah began her art journey in 2011 by painting on small pieces of wood that she would transform into wearable art. Wanting to expand her artistic expression, she began painting on canvas with acrylic in 2012. Fast forward to 2023, she now facilitates painting classes for a wide range of participants and has a growing number of murals under her belt. Her visual artwork is heavily inspired by the global indigenous community. As an African-American, Muslim, wife, and mother of five , born and raised in Denver, CO, Jannah highlights these many perspectives throughout her work. Also a spoken word artist and activist, her writings are focused on social justice and our inward reality. Adding to her activism, she is now actively working in the birth justice movement. She has most recently obtained her Full Spectrum Doula certification so she can help create safe spaces for women to birth with care and dignity. She prays the totality of her work will help the world remember God and realize that nothing is ever as bad as it seems.
