Bilingual Vegetable Garden Markers (Set of 4)

Handcrafted by refugees in Jordan using traditional Palestinian tatreez, these rustic garden markers showcase exquisite embroidery techniques passed down through generations. Each wooden stick features meticulously stitched representations of common culinary vegetables in both English and Arabic: Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, and Koussa/Squash. These functional markers not only help organize your herb garden but also serve as cultural artifacts that honor Palestinian textile traditions while supporting refugee artisans. 

Due to the handcrafted nature of the needlework, some scratches/markers will be visible on the markers. 

Care instructions: 

Although water resistant, keep out of direct sunlight to avoid the threads from fading. Keep out of harsh weather conditions. The markers are made out of wood but sprayed with brown paint that is water resistant. 

About Umi: Umi Started as a Mother's Day campaign in 012 to celebrate, champion, and stand with vulnerable mothers. In celebration of our tenth anniversary in 2022, we decided it is time to increase our impact and momentum. Our love and dedication for this mission grew substantially through the years, so we finally grew Umi from a Mother's Day campaign to a sustainable platform that will fuel the mission of elevating the living standards of vulnerable mothers in under-served communities around the MENA region.
